Cost

Private lessons in Shawlands, Glasgow.

Standard lesson length is 30 minutes for individual lessons. More advanced students may find that 45 minutes or 1 hour is more suitable to their needs.

My basic rate is £16.50 / 30 minutes.

This is usually payed in advance before each teaching term or half-term.

Group lessons

Group lessons are an excellent way of enjoying learning flute within a group of supportive friends, and also of keeping the cost down. I appreciate that weekly lessons can be a financial burden, and one way of reducing this pressure is to share the cost with someone else learning at a similar level. Please call me to discuss this, as there are a number of different options available depending on your own situation.

Not sure about committing to lessons long term?

Perhaps you are new to playing flute, or are looking for a new teacher, and you don't want to commit to a full term of lessons. This is fine, and I offer one-off and/or a smaller numbers of lessons for new students. Again, please call or email to discuss the options.

Private lessons at your own home.

I may be able to travel to your home to deliver lessons. Please ring me to discuss this. There is an additional rate for travel within the Glasgow/Paisley area.
